The primary role of the altar server is to assist the priest in the celebration of the liturgy during Mass. This is done through the specific actions and by setting an example to the congregation by active participation in the liturgy (hymns, responses, etc.) by looking alert and sitting or standing at the appropriate times.
Boys and girls in fourth grade and above are welcome to serve. All servers will receive annual training and ongoing formation.
If you are interested in serving at the altar, please fill out the form linked below and we will reach out to you.
Baptism is the first Sacrament celebrated with your child in the Catholic faith. Baptism is an invitation to join the living gospel values with Jesus right now, where Jesus acknowledges us as his children and transforms our lives into a story of love with Him.
Baptism is a family event. It's a special occasion in the life of your family and in the life of the Church. In the preparation class for the Rite of Infant Baptism, you will come to a deeper understanding of the ritual process of Baptism communicated through Scripture, prayers, signs, and symbols as you begin your lifelong journey with your child.
Holy Family CYO seeks to enrich the mind, body and spirit of our youth by fostering discipline, teamwork, sportsmanship, good health and charitable works. Each year over 400 children participate in our programs which include basketball, volleyball, swimming and track. In addition, over 30 adults volunteer their time and talents as coaches. Children are encouraged to and given the opportunity to give back to their community in a number of ways from volunteering at special Olympics, feeding and clothing the homeless and raising money for children battling cancer. They learn the importance of volunteerism, which pays dividends in our community for years to come.
The Consolation Ministry journeys with those suffering from the loss of a loved one. Members help families to plan the funeral, members serve at the funeral, provide baked goods for the families, and help the priests better serve our families in grief.

The Knights of Columbus are Catholic men of faith and men of charitable action. Membership in the Knights of Columbus provides an association with brotherly companions. It offers the opportunity for fellowship with those of the same belief who recognize the same duty to God, to family and to neighbour, and who stand with those who share those beliefs. Programs are organized to appeal to the individual interests of the members and to enable them to render service to their church, their country, and their fellow men. Regularly-scheduled times of prayer and devotion are also part of the Knights’ charism, helping brothers to grow deeper in their relationship with Jesus.
The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic charitable organization whose membership is open to all men of the parish 18 years old or older and dedicated to helping others. meetings are held every Second and Fourth Wednesday at the Parish Center and start at 8pm. Our fund raising efforts make it possible for us to help, the Parish outreach, Catholic Charities, Haiti Relief and many others.
Mary’s Hands meets during the week to knit items for adults and children in need.
Youth and Young Adults collect food and clothing from the parish to bring and distribute to the homeless once a month.
The choir enhances the liturgical celebrations by leading the music ministry at Sunday Masses through hymns and songs that will ensure the “full, conscious, and active participation in the liturgical celebration” (Sacrosanctum Concilium, 14). The whole church community benefits from participating in the Eucharist through prayerful music.

Parish Social Minstry is a vibrant growing part of our faith community here at Holy Family Parish. This ministry is staffed by the Coordinator of Parish Social Ministry, Deacon Jose Contreras and parishioners committed to helping the people of our community. Volunteer ministers give freely of their time and talent providing assistance to those with basic needs, ministering with compassion, sensitivity and confidentiality while striving to treat each person with the dignity they deserve in Christ.
The Church's deepest nature is expressed in her three-fold responsibility of:
These duties presuppose each other and are inseparable. For the Church, charity is not a kind of welfare activity which could equally well be left to others, but is a part of her nature, an indispensable expression of her very being.
The definition of Parish Social Ministry is the empowerment of the parish as the people of God to fulfill the Church's mission of love, justice, freedom and peace by communally responding in an organized way to societal and individual human needs.
